Privacy policy

This policy explains how I, Ilaria Biordi, a content creator based in Sydney, Australia, handle personal information. It covers this website, the emails I send and receive about brand collaborations, and the Ilaria Booking Agent Google app I use to manage those emails. I handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

This website (ilariabiordi.com.au)

• The site has no contact forms, no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers.
• Like any website, the hosting provider automatically records basic technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to keep the site running and secure. I don't use these logs to identify anyone.
• Links to TikTok and Instagram take you to those platforms, which have their own privacy policies.

Collaboration emails

I contact brands about paid collaborations, and brands contact me. To do this I collect and keep:

• business contact details that brands publish on their own websites or send to me, such as a name, role and work email address, plus the page where I found them;
• the emails we exchange, and a simple record of each brand (what was sent, when, and the outcome).

I use this only to discuss, arrange and deliver collaborations. I don't sell it, rent it or add anyone to a mailing list.

Opting out: if you reply "no thanks" or ask me to stop, I record it straight away and won't contact you again. You can also ask me to delete the details I hold about you.

Ilaria Booking Agent (Google app)

Ilaria Booking Agent is a private app that connects to my own collaboration Gmail account only. It is not offered to the public and no other person's Google account is connected to it.

It uses the Gmail API with the gmail.modify permission to:

• send my brand collaboration emails and replies;
• read and search the emails in that mailbox so replies from brands can be tracked and answered;
• manage those emails, for example marking them as read or applying labels.

Email content is processed by an AI assistant (Claude, provided by Anthropic) acting as my service provider, only to help draft and track my collaboration emails. Gmail data is not used to train AI models.

Records the app creates (such as a log of emails sent) are stored privately on my own computer. Nothing from Gmail is published, sold, used for advertising or shared with anyone else, except where the law requires it.

You can remove the app's access at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Storage and security

Emails stay in Google's Gmail service. My records are kept on a password-protected computer, and the app's sign-in keys are stored privately and never shared. I keep collaboration records for as long as they're useful for my work, then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you, or ask me to stop contacting you. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, contact me first. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
